Pharmacy Technician – Ambulatory (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus seeks a part‑time Pharmacy Technician to support the ambulatory/outpatient pharmacy. You will work on a day/evening rotation, providing essential services that keep patients safe and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide distributive pharmacy services and support the pharmacist in an ambulatory setting.
• Prepare prescription orders for dispensing to patients.
• Maintain inventory for the outpatient pharmacy, monitor reorder points and restock.
• Assist with extemporaneous and bulk compounding of prescriptions and over‑the‑counter items.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale cash register system and handle cash transactions.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED with six months of related experience or completion of a Pharmacy Technician program.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA at hire.
• Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Trainee.
