Peoplesoft Payroll Consultant – Atlanta

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Peoplesoft Payroll Consultant to join its Technology Consulting team in Atlanta. You will work on PeopleSoft HCM Global Payroll solutions, contributing to design, development, and support of payroll applications for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Document assigned portions of business requirements during the elicitation phase.
• Facilitate design discussions, capture decisions, and guide the technical team.
• Code new features or updates, ensuring system stability and integration with existing applications.
• Perform code reviews, maintain code repositories, and apply changes as needed.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth roll‑outs.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements to implementation.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for design and hands‑on coding.
• Proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and refining applications.
• Comfort working with cross‑functional teams and integrating software components.
