Pediatric OR RN – HOPS

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Pediatric Operating Room (OR). You will provide professional nursing care to children six months and older undergoing surgical and invasive procedures, primarily ENT and GI cases, in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Circulate, scrub, and float for pediatric surgeries, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique.
• Perform nursing assessments, document findings, and communicate abnormal results to physicians.
• Administer medications, treatments, and assist with procedural sedation as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
• At least one year of recent RN experience; OR experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within six months for moderate sedation cases.
• Ability to work day shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM) with on‑call duties.
