Payroll Tax Intern

About the role

The Payroll Tax Intern will support Bosch's payroll tax compliance and reconciliation activities across the United States. You will gain hands‑on experience with statutory reporting, tax remittance, and payroll processing while collaborating with internal stakeholders and participating in audits.

Key responsibilities

• Support, reconcile, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns for federal, state, and local agencies.
• Research and respond to monthly variances related to payroll and tax accounts.
• Reconcile quarterly and annual payroll tax reports for various jurisdictions.
• Research and address federal, state, and local tax notices and assist with tax audits.
• Ensure payroll system jurisdictions are updated on time for accurate employee and company withholding.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Authorized to work indefinitely in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, charts, graphs).
