Payroll Coordinator

About the role

The Payroll Coordinator will join the Accounting/Finance team at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, supporting payroll processing and basic accounting functions across multiple entities. This entry‑level position is ideal for analytical candidates eager to grow in a dynamic resort environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Process bi‑weekly payroll accurately, including manual checks, voids and adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with internal controls and employment tax laws.
• Collaborate with HR to resolve payroll discrepancies and support system testing and upgrades (e.g., Workday).
• Perform bookkeeping for multiple LLC entities, handling accounts payable, accounts receivable and month‑end close activities.
• Assist with financial reporting, intercompany transactions, budget variance analysis and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in payroll, accounting or related project management.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
