AP/AR Coordinator

About the role

The AP/AR Coordinator will join the Accounting/Finance Department at Discovery Land Company’s Homewood Mountain & Lake Club in Lake Tahoe, California. This position is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and supporting month‑end close activities while providing revenue and labor analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely through BILL.com and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and execute check runs and ACH payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor records (including W‑9s).
• Monitor AP aging, ensure timely payments, and generate analytical reports using Excel.
• Oversee accounts receivable, confirm daily location closes, and audit revenue across all business lines.
• Track deferred revenue, produce daily/weekly revenue and labor reports, and support the Controller with documentation.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities, account reconciliations, accruals, and special accounting projects.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working in a multi‑entity environment and with electronic invoice processing systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
