Patient Scheduler 2 – Oncology (Remote)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Patient Scheduler 2 to support oncology services. Working remotely, you will provide exceptional customer service by communicating with patients over the phone, gathering necessary information, and coordinating diagnostic therapy and treatment appointments across UHealth locations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule complex oncology treatments and CTU appointments with meticulous attention to detail.
• Answer inbound calls and proactively contact patients to confirm treatment times and provide preparation instructions.
• Obtain, verify, and enter demographic and insurance data accurately.
• Utilize multiple scheduling applications, network drives, and software to manage appointments across various modalities.
• Review patients' prior imaging reports and ensure compliance with scheduling protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians, radiologists, technologists, and referring physicians to guarantee smooth procedure flow.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in medical scheduling or patient coordination.
