About the role

The Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic is expanding its state‑of‑the‑art facility and is seeking Patient Care Nurse Assistants to join the team. You will work under RN supervision to provide direct patient care and help create a welcoming, healing environment for patients with complex neurological conditions.

Key responsibilities

Take vital signs, weight, and assist patients with personal care, point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, and application of monitoring devices.
Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the supervising RN.
Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms and assist with removal of urinary Foley catheters.

Required profile

High School Diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required upon hire or within the new‑hire period).
Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician is considered a plus.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification (preferred).
