The H80 unit is an acute care telemetry floor caring for adults with complex medical needs such as heart failure and diabetes. This part‑time, day‑shift position supports registered nurses in delivering high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, weight, and perform point‑of‑care testing.
• Assist patients with personal care, dressing changes, and application/removal of external monitoring devices and urinary Foley catheters.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patients’ physical, mental, or emotional condition to the RN.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within the new‑hire period).
• Current nursing students must hold BLS certification; recent clinical rotation may substitute required experience.
• Military experience as Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician is considered.
• Preferred: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
