About the role

The Patient Care Nurse Assistant works on the H80 Internal Medicine Telemetry unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, providing direct patient care under RN supervision on a rotating day/night schedule.

Key responsibilities

Take vital signs, weight, and perform point‑of‑care testing.
Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing changes, and application/removal of monitoring devices.
Remove urinary Foley catheters and report any abnormal findings to the RN.
Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.

Required profile

High School Diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required within the new‑hire period.
Military medical experience (Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician) is considered.
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification is preferred.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to perform manual patient handling and basic clinical assessments.
