About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant to join its Gastroenterology and Hepatology unit on the Main Campus. This night‑shift position supports patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions, providing direct care under RN supervision.

Key responsibilities

Take vital signs, record weight, and assist with activities of daily living.
Perform patient transfers, transport, pulse oximetry, point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, and apply/remove monitoring devices.
Remove urinary Foley catheters and report any abnormal findings to the RN.
Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.

Required profile

High school diploma or GED.
Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within the new‑hire period).
Military medical experience (Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician) considered.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification (preferred).
