About the role

The Patient Care Nurse Assistant supports the H51 Colorectal Surgery unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, providing direct patient care under RN supervision on a day/night rotating schedule.

Key responsibilities

Measure vital signs, weight, and assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
Perform patient transfers, transport, pulse oximetry, point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, and apply/remove monitoring devices and urinary catheters.
Report abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to the RN promptly.
Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.

Required profile

High School Diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Military medical experience (Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician) considered.
Preferred: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.

Required skills
