Part‑Time Teller – York, PA

About the role

Join Santander’s York branch as a part‑time teller, providing frontline banking services to customers on Bannister Street. You will help customers with everyday transactions while delivering a high level of service in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times and assist with banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Handle cash securely and adhere to compliance, risk‑management and fraud‑prevention policies.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer appropriate bank products.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Support custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and may assist nearby branches as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
