Part‑Time Math Faculty (Remote)

About the role

The University of Arkansas Grantham seeks qualified part‑time mathematics faculty to deliver online courses on a remote basis. In this role you will teach eight‑week courses, manage up to 70 students per term, and contribute to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide online instruction for math courses using Blackboard LMS.
• Maintain regular outreach and communication with enrolled students.
• Prepare and deliver course materials for monthly or quarterly start dates.
• Monitor student progress and assess performance throughout the eight‑week term.
• Collaborate with the Administrative Faculty and adhere to university policies.

Required profile

• Reside and be authorized to work full‑time in one of the listed U.S. states.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the post‑secondary level.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Blackboard Learning Management System.
