Part‑Time Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician provides technical and mechanical support to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This part‑time position works Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant homes, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting.

Required profile

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays on call.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when required.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 certification for refrigerant recycling.
• EPA Type II certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
