Part‑Time Lecturer – Clinical Nursing Courses

About the role

The School of Nursing at Northeastern University is hiring part‑time lecturers to teach a variety of clinical courses, including Adult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal‑Child, Pediatrics, Psychiatric/Mental Health, and Senior Practicum. Lecturers will guide nursing students through hands‑on clinical experiences and help them develop safe, competent practice.

Key responsibilities

• Educate nursing students in clinical settings.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations.
• Model professional nursing practice.
• Collaborate with faculty to align clinical instruction with curriculum goals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing (minimum).
• At least two years of relevant professional nursing experience.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Availability to start in May, September, or January as needed.
