Part‑Time Business Management Instructor

About the role

Columbus Technical College seeks a part‑time Business Management Instructor to deliver classroom and online instruction across multiple counties in Georgia. Under general supervision the instructor will develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and support recruitment and retention efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans for business management courses, including day, evening, night and online sessions.
• Evaluate student performance against learning outcomes and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with student recruitment, marketing activities, and special events.
• Ensure compliance with college safety and technical standards in classrooms and labs.
• Maintain and manage instructional supplies, equipment, and facilities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Management or Business Administration with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Business Management (or equivalent).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to teach high‑school and post‑secondary students across Muscogee, Stewart, Quitman, Chattahoochee, Harris and Talbot counties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using learning management systems.
