About the role

The Columbus Technical College Cosmetology Program is seeking a part‑time Instructional Aide to support students and instructors in hair, skin and nail training.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor students during skilled and basic cosmetology training.
• Assist instructors and students with classroom activities and demonstrations.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and clean laboratory environments.
• Demonstrate current cosmetology procedures and ensure safety standards.
• Provide effective oral and written communication with students and staff.
• Potentially teach high‑school students and travel across designated counties.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Hands‑on experience in cosmetology services (hair, skin, nails) and reception duties.
• Current Georgia State Board of Cosmetology Master License.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and customer‑service orientation.
