Associate Degree Nursing Part‑time Instructor

About the role

Columbus Technical College is seeking a part‑time adjunct instructor for its Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program. The instructor will deliver classroom and lab instruction, evaluate student progress, and support the college’s mission to prepare competent nursing professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Teach ADN courses following state standards and curriculum outlines.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback to ensure achievement of learning objectives.
• Maintain and order supplies and equipment for training labs.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are observed in all instructional settings.
• Participate in staff development, workshops, seminars, and conferences.
• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for program accreditation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Georgia or eNLC Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to stand, move, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 lb.
• Willingness to teach high‑school students and travel within the service area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
