Partnership Development Coordinator

About the role

The Education Innovation team at Northeastern University seeks a Partnership Development Coordinator to support Experiential Partnership Managers. You will help create, retain, and manage industry relationships that enable project‑based experiential learning for students.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with companies to sponsor project‑based experiential opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for recruiting and retaining industry partners aligned with academic program needs.
• Document, triage, and improve database management systems such as Salesforce to optimize partner relationships.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to align recruited projects with courses and academic units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and 3‑4 years of experience managing employer or company relationships.
• Experience working with diverse constituents in higher education, including employers, students, faculty, and administration.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and written communication skills with a customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Teams.
• Experience using Salesforce and other database programs.
• Data management and analysis capabilities.
