Part-Time Teller (Lincoln, RI)

About the role

As a Teller, you assist customers with a variety of financial needs and process transactions. You deliver exceptional service, resolve concerns, minimize risk, defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an elevated level of customer service by welcoming customers, minimizing wait times, and assisting with banking needs.
• Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers while handling cash and maintaining accurate drawer balances.
• Adhere to bank policies, compliance, and risk management protocols to prevent fraud.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and refer appropriate bank products to deepen customer relationships.
• Engage customers with digital tools and educate them on self‑service options.
• Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to create a welcoming environment.
• Support nearby branch locations when business necessity requires.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months demonstrated customer‑service experience.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to identify and escalate risk concerns.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance engagement.
• Energetic, organized, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with basic math and computer proficiency.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
