Part-Time Primary Care Clinician (FNP/MD/DO)

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Primary Care Clinician (FNP, MD or DO) to join our San Mateo clinic. The clinician will work 4-5 hours per week on-site, delivering comprehensive primary-care services to patients living with severe mental illness within an integrated, interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic primary-care assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients with schizophrenia, bipolar I, schizoaffective disorder, and treatment-resistant depression.
• Collaborate daily with psychiatrists, therapists, dietitians, and community health workers to coordinate longitudinal care.
• Document encounters in the electronic health record and ensure continuity of care across visits.
• Participate in case reviews and quality-improvement meetings led by the Clinical Director.
• Contribute to research and outcomes frameworks that advance care for severe mental illness.

Required profile

• Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner, MD or DO in California.
• Interest in a 1099 contract arrangement.
• Availability for 4-5 on-site hours per week.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to a high-acuity population.
