Part-time Lecturer – Aerospace Program

About the role
The university seeks a part‑time lecturer to teach core undergraduate courses in the Aerospace minor, including Fluid Mechanics, Introduction to Flight, and Aeronautical Propulsion. The role involves preparing class materials, assessments, and providing student support.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare class notes, homework sets, quizzes, midterm and final exams.
- Deliver in‑person lectures and hold office hours.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Coordinate curriculum and assessments with the Thermofluids group coordinator and Boston campus representatives.
Required profile
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a Thermo‑Science concentration.
- Strong understanding of undergraduate fluid mechanics and aerospace system design.
- Experience teaching classroom settings.
