Part-Time Forklift Operator – Milton, FL

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator for its Milton, FL service center. The position offers a starting wage of $20.32 per hour, Monday‑Friday shifts, and a vacation week after 90 days. Operators work on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock handling freight safely.

Key responsibilities

• Move various types of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed dock while maintaining safety standards.
• Read and follow manifests to ensure accurate handling.
• Interact with computer displays to track shipments.

Required profile

• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or LTL setting.
• Ability to read manifests and use computer displays.
