Part-Time Forklift Operator – Milton, FL

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator for its Milton, FL service center. You will safely move various freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, operating a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers using a forklift.
• Operate the forklift on a roofed dock while adhering to safety protocols.
• Read and follow manifests and computer‑based instructions.
• Assist with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) shipments as needed.

Required profile

• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Basic ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display.
