About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator for its Sauget, IL service center. The position works the 3rd shift on 8‑ to 10‑hour days, primarily on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays.
Key responsibilities
- Move various freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read manifests and interact with computer displays to track loads.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable, able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or LTL setting.
