About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Electrical Safety Instructor to deliver classroom and virtual training on electrical safety topics to groups of 2‑25 students. The role involves travel to training sites, preparation of materials using MS Office, and the ability to conduct sessions via Zoom.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver hands‑on and lecture‑based training on electrical safety, qualified electrical worker standards, hazards, work practices, and special safety equipment.
- Travel to client locations and manage training support equipment weighing up to 90 lb.
- Prepare and present training materials using PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
Required profile
- Field experience with NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, and working knowledge of the NEC.
- Prior safety‑training instructor experience preferred.
- Excellent presentation and customer‑service skills.
- Associate’s degree or higher, or a relevant license/certification.
