Paint Tech – No Weekends – Unlimited Earning Potential

About the role

CARSTAR Murray's in Port Orchard seeks an experienced Paint Technician to join a family‑owned collision repair group. The position offers a steady Monday‑through‑Friday schedule with no weekends and a flat‑rate pay structure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all refinish procedures to OEM and factory specifications, including mixing, tinting, and matching paint colors using waterborne basecoat systems.
• Apply primer, sealer, base coat, and clear coat with precision, and handle sanding, masking, and vehicle prep.
• Maintain spray booth, equipment, and workspace, monitor paint inventory, and keep the management system updated.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, use required PPE, and attend daily production meetings.

Required profile

• 2+ years of automotive painting and refinishing experience.
• Strong skills in color matching, blending, and topcoat application to OEM standards.
• I‑CAR Platinum or ASE refinishing certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
