Paid Social & Search SEM Manager

About the role

We are seeking a talented Paid Social & Search SEM Manager to join a US‑based media agency’s creative team. This fully remote, contractor position works full‑time (9 am‑5 pm PST) and focuses on planning, executing, and optimizing paid social and search campaigns for diverse brand clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day strategy, setup, management, and optimization of Paid Social and Paid Search/SEM campaigns.
• Manage campaigns across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, Google Ads and other relevant platforms.
• Monitor budgets, pacing, performance and ensure client KPIs are met.
• Develop structured testing roadmaps for creative, audiences, targeting, bidding, keywords and campaign structures.
• Analyze performance data, identify trends, risks and growth opportunities.
• Conduct detailed QA of campaign setup, tracking, naming conventions and delivery settings before launch.
• Prepare weekly performance summaries, reports, key learnings and actionable recommendations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding campaign performance and strategy.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in paid media, covering both Paid Social and Paid Search/SEM.
• Proven track record managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
• Experience with additional platforms such as TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, Pinterest or Snapchat is a plus.
• Strong understanding of audience targeting, bidding strategies, keyword planning, budget allocation and performance analysis.
