Job description

We are seeking an Associate Director, Packaging to lead the definition and execution of global packaging strategies for our biopharmaceutical portfolio. The role is responsible for ensuring robust packaging system designs, efficient processes, and integrated control strategies that align with upstream and downstream requirements. You will drive risk understanding and reduction prior to product launch, conduct technical risk assessments, develop packaging specifications, and oversee qualification activities while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and sustainability goals. The position requires strong technical expertise in primary, secondary, and tertiary pharmaceutical packaging, including blow‑fill‑seal technologies, and the ability to collaborate across the end‑to‑end CMC continuum. Successful candidates will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical packaging development, risk assessment tools, and project management, and will be able to influence senior leaders and balance stakeholder interests.
