Packaging Machine Operator – Night Shift

About the role

Join Barilla as a Packaging Machine Operator and help move pasta from the production line to the dinner table. You will operate automated packaging equipment, ensure production flow, and maintain high standards for quality and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment and production lines.
• Perform machine set‑ups, adjustments, and product changeovers.
• Inspect products for quality, accurate coding, and proper sealing.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns when needed.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow food safety, GMP, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to keep the line running smoothly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
