Oracle Project Portfolio Management (OPPM) Consultant

About the role

Pyrovio Consulting seeks an experienced Oracle Project Portfolio Management (OPPM) Consultant to design, implement, configure, and optimize OPPM solutions for utility and capital‑investment clients. The role blends functional and technical expertise to deliver end‑to‑end solutions, drive user adoption, and support portfolio governance in a client‑facing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather business requirements, design portfolio structures, and map client processes to OPPM capabilities.
• Configure functional workflows, hierarchies, dashboards, security roles, and customize OPPM settings.
• Install, configure, maintain OPPM environments, manage upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Integrate OPPM with Oracle P6, Unifier, ERP, EcoSys, Sage and develop APIs, middleware, and ETL scripts.
• Plan and execute data migrations, validate and reconcile migrated data, and ensure data consistency across systems.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports using OPPM and BI tools; support ad‑hoc reporting.
• Create training materials, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing user support and change‑management guidance.
• Maintain portfolio governance, audit configurations, compliance, and risk‑management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in portfolio management and Oracle Primavera suite, including 5+ years in OPPM functional configuration and 5+ years in technical administration (WebLogic, SQL).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and client‑engagement skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
