Oracle Grants Functional Lead

About the role

Next Generation, Inc is looking for an experienced Oracle Grants Functional Lead to drive grants management initiatives for public‑sector clients. The role combines functional expertise with hands‑on implementation to ensure compliant, efficient grant lifecycle processes.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze functional requirements from public‑sector stakeholders for grant budgeting, award management and compliance tracking.
• Lead design and configuration of Oracle Grants Management, integrating with Projects, GL, AP, AR and Procurement modules.
• Support end‑to‑end implementations, including system testing, UAT and go‑live assistance.
• Identify and implement process improvements using Oracle best practices.
• Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions and provide post‑go‑live support.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local grant regulations and audit requirements.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience with Oracle Grants Management and full lifecycle implementations.
• Proven experience in public‑sector Oracle deployments (federal, state or local).
• Strong understanding of grant lifecycle processes, budgeting, billing and revenue recognition.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
