Oracle Functional Consultant – Financials

About the role

Next Generation, Inc is seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant to implement and support Oracle Financial modules for manufacturing operations. The consultant will gather requirements, design solutions, configure applications, and ensure successful deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze functional requirements from business stakeholders.
• Design and configure Oracle Financial applications (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) following best practices.
• Support end‑to‑end implementation, including system testing, UAT and go‑live activities.
• Identify and implement process optimizations for financial workflows.
• Develop training materials, deliver sessions and provide post‑go‑live support.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Oracle Financial modules with manufacturing systems.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and generate reporting for decision‑making.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Financial modules, including at least 3 years in manufacturing implementations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes and their interaction with finance.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Oracle Financials certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Configuration of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management.

What we offer

• Competitive contractor rate of $75‑$120 per hour (USD).
• Full‑time employee salary range $120,000‑$145,000 per year (USD).
