Oracle Fixed Assets Functional Lead

About the role

Next Generation, Inc is looking for an experienced Oracle Fixed Assets Functional Lead to drive asset lifecycle management for public sector clients. The role involves gathering requirements, designing solutions, and supporting end‑to‑end implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze functional requirements from public sector stakeholders.
• Design and configure Oracle Fixed Assets, including categories, depreciation rules, transfers and retirements.
• Lead implementation activities such as system testing, UAT and go‑live support.
• Identify process‑optimization opportunities and ensure compliance with public sector accounting standards.
• Develop training materials, conduct user training and provide post‑go‑live support.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience with Oracle Fixed Assets and full lifecycle implementations.
• Proven experience supporting Oracle implementations in federal, state or local government environments.
• Strong understanding of asset accounting concepts such as capitalization, depreciation and asset tracking.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
