Oracle Database Consultant – Plano, TX

About the role

Infosys Financial Services is looking for an Oracle Database Consultant to join its Infrastructure Consulting team in the United States. The consultant will work on financial institution projects, helping clients design, deploy and maintain Oracle‑based data platforms across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, produce assessment reports and support due‑diligence activities.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions and create technical documentation for deployed systems.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, conduct post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Plan and oversee maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring continuity.
• Analyze performance data, provide insights on system behavior and support capacity‑planning activities.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing security measures and continuity plans.
