Opioid Trust Contracts Manager – Atlanta

About the role

The Opioid Trust Contracts Manager reports to the Executive Director of the Georgia Opioid Crisis Abatement Trust and is responsible for coordinating, developing, and executing grant contracts and payments. The role also supervises Programmatic Officers while handling contract management duties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight and technical assistance for grant contracts, including invoice analysis and programmatic report processing.
• Conduct independent and accompanied site visits of grant contractor locations.
• Monitor spend‑down of all grant contracts and assist in policy development for payments.
• Answer contractor and staff inquiries, escalating issues to the Executive Director as needed.
• Liaise with Procurement, Contracts, and Accounts Payable to ensure timely processing of payments and contracts.
• Maintain communication with the Executive Director on contract progress and ensure compliance with Trust policies.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to summarize data and create reports.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information.
• Experience in a high‑pace, highly visible environment, preferably with 5‑7 years of relevant coordination or supervisory experience.
