Operations Specialist

About the role

Kodiak Robotics is seeking an Operations Specialist to support its autonomous trucking operations across the southern United States. You will work closely with safety drivers, manage run documentation, and ensure smooth daily logistics for driverless semi‑trucks.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate courteously with multiple safety drivers throughout each shift.
• Accurately track and document progress of autonomous runs.
• Update information in the company’s Truck Management System.
• Set driver schedules, including weekend and night assignments.
• Create and maintain SOP documentation for operational processes.
• Troubleshoot and log any issues encountered with the autonomous system.
• Report trip issues and logistical discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with AV system setup and perform required health‑check checklists.

Required profile

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to perform under high‑stress situations while exercising good judgment.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Previous experience in a call‑center or similar environment is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
• Ability to troubleshoot operating systems.
