Conductor/a de Camión de Agua

About the role

HEI is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to join its construction team in Dallas. You will operate a heavy‑duty water truck, delivering water to job sites for dust control, soil compaction, leveling and utility installation while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive a water truck (GVW >26,000 lbs) on construction sites and public roads.
• Transport water to designated locations and manage loading/unloading using pumps, valves and sprinkler systems.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, monitor weather and site conditions, and adjust operations as needed.
• Communicate with foremen, superintendents and equipment operators to coordinate water distribution.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine maintenance (fuel, fluids, tire pressure, basic troubleshooting) and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Keep accurate daily logs, inspection reports and DOT‑required records.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws and company safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Class A preferred).
• Current DOT medical card.

Required skills

• CDL Class A/B operation.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspection procedures.
• Experience with water‑truck equipment (pumps, valves, sprinklers).
• Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
