Operations Associate – Part‑Time (Fulton Market, Chicago)

About the role

As an Operations Associate you will ensure smooth and reliable performance of autonomous delivery robots in Chicago’s Fulton Market District. You’ll provide hands‑on field support, perform light maintenance, and help keep deliveries on time and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Support robots in the field, respond to obstacles, technical issues, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Assist with deployment processes including preparation, inspection, cleaning and placement of robots.
• Track, document and close escalation tickets, maintaining clear communication and records.
• Operate company vehicles safely to move, recover or reposition robotic units.
• Prioritize safety by following company standards, escalating critical events, and using required PPE.
• Manage end‑of‑shift recovery by securing, charging, sanitizing and accounting for all robotic assets.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive mid‑size utility vehicles.
• Capability to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lb.
• Professional customer‑facing experience and willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Experience with Jira (preferred).
• Familiarity with work communication tools such as Slack.
• Strong organizational, collaboration and problem‑solving abilities.
