About the role
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Office Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our Manhattan office. This full‑time, on‑site position involves overseeing daily administrative functions, ensuring a smooth and professional work environment for leadership and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments with timely distribution.
- Maintain physical and digital filing systems, including document scanning and uploads to internal platforms.
- Coordinate office operations and procedures to maximize efficiency.
- Act as primary liaison for office vendors, building management, and service providers.
- Monitor office supply inventory, anticipate needs, and place orders.
- Support senior leadership and department heads with scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, setting up workspaces and equipment.
- Liaise with IT to troubleshoot basic technical issues and coordinate equipment needs.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in office management or senior administrative roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional demeanor when handling sensitive information.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with office equipment such as scanners, printers, and postage meters.
