OBGYN Sonographer – Women's Health Clinic (Full‑Time)

About the role

In collaboration with staff radiologists, the Sonographer performs advanced diagnostic ultrasound procedures for the Women’s Health Clinic, providing mentorship to junior staff and students while adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physician orders and ensure procedural accuracy.
• Operate ultrasound equipment independently and assist radiologists in guided procedures.
• Review and transmit patient images that meet diagnostic quality standards.
• Perform quality control and regulatory compliance tasks.
• Support departmental operations such as inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Completion of a CAHEA‑approved diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential or eligibility within one year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on‑call availability.

Required skills

• Diagnostic ultrasound operation.
• Use of radiology information systems and related software.
• Computer and web‑based application proficiency.
• Knowledge of abdominal anatomy for liver, gallbladder, kidneys, pancreas, etc.
