Nutrition Service Worker – Part Time

About the role

The Nutrition Service Worker supports Kingman Healthcare’s high‑volume nutrition services, preparing and delivering up to 90,000 meals each month. The role combines food preparation, patient tray service, and customer interaction in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble patient food trays accurately and efficiently according to order tickets.
• Operate café cash registers, serve customers, and ensure proper portion control.
• Prepare cold sandwiches, salads, and fruit items while following labeling and recipe standards.
• Run the industrial dish machine and maintain cleanliness of all service equipment.
• Stock nourishment refrigerators and walk‑in freezers, rotating products to prevent expiration.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food‑service experience with strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and handle physical demands (lifting up to 30 lb, standing for long periods).
• Current ANSI‑accredited food handler certificate or equivalent Arizona food‑handler card.

Required skills

• Food handler certification meeting Arizona state requirements.
• Operation of industrial automatic dish machines.
• Accurate use of measuring tools and adherence to recipes.
