About the role
Join the State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as a Nursing Assistant II on the night shift. You will provide direct care and basic nursing procedures in a nursing facility or home health setting, supporting the health and well‑being of residents.
Key responsibilities
- Perform assigned direct‑care activities under general supervision.
- Carry out basic nursing procedures in accordance with facility policies.
- Assist residents with daily living tasks and monitor their condition.
- Document care provided and report any changes in patient status.
Required profile
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
- At least one year of experience as a Nursing Assistant I (or equivalent).
- Ability to work night shifts in an onsite setting.
Required skills
- Basic nursing care techniques.
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols.
