Night Shift Staff Pharmacist – Kings Hwy

About the role

The Night Shift Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive drug therapy management in a multidisciplinary pharmacy environment on Kings Highway. Working the 7 pm‑7 am shift, the pharmacist prepares, dispenses, and verifies medications while delivering patient education and clinical pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate physician orders for safety, dosing, allergies, renal function, and drug interactions.
• Ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, including sterile and investigational products.
• Manage drug therapy to optimize patient outcomes through interventions, adverse‑reaction assessment, and patient counseling.
• Maintain professional licensure and stay current with continuing education.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Adapt communication style to diverse patient populations and perform other related duties as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Pharm.D preferred.
• Current pharmacy license in the state of practice.
• No prior experience required; ability to work flexible night schedule.
• Physical ability to lift moderate loads, stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods.
