New Equipment Fielding / Training Instructor

About the role

CACI is seeking a New Equipment Fielder / Training Instructor in Fayetteville, NC to train U.S. military personnel on the proper function, use and maintenance of military devices and equipment. The position is full time, requires a Secret clearance to start, and involves up to 75% travel across the continental United States.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present complex training programs for soldiers and contractor personnel on U.S. military individual equipment.
• Coordinate with the customer to identify program needs, obtain technical data and schedule programs.
• Test and evaluate trainees to measure learning progress and the effectiveness of training presentations.
• Design and develop training modules and deliver training on complex topics.
• Guide less experienced trainers using strong technical and training skills.
• Serve as primary instructor for Operator and Operator/Field Service Representative courses.
• Provide sustainment support for assigned equipment.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience, with at least 10 years of related work experience.
• Army MOS 18 series or MOS 11B (V-Ranger qualified).
• Experience as a military and/or tactical instructor.
• Able to travel up to 50% (CONUS and OCONUS).

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of firearms, night vision and thermal equipment, typically gained through advanced education and experience.
• Knowledge of the Army supply system, especially issuing new equipment to U.S. Army units.
• Desired: Military Instructor certification.
