About the role

The Neurology Clinic RN provides leadership in patient care using the nursing process, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The role involves delegating, directing, and supporting licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring high‑quality outcomes for a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care in the neurology clinic.
• Assess learning needs and implement patient, family, and interdisciplinary education strategies.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
• Utilize data and evidence‑based knowledge to drive improvements and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse license in Louisiana.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior experience required; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
