Network Security Engineer

About the role

Arctiq is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support and manage global physical security and infrastructure operations for a client. The role involves deploying, maintaining, and supporting enterprise security systems, access control platforms, and video surveillance technologies across a distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support global physical security systems, including access control platforms such as Verkada, Avigilon, and Openpath.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain camera systems, access control hardware, and monitoring solutions.
• Perform firmware updates, patching, and lifecycle management of security devices.
• Monitor health, availability, and performance of security and infrastructure systems worldwide.
• Investigate and resolve alerts, outages, and performance degradation across global environments.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation and provide occasional travel for installations and operational initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based security platforms and smart‑hands support.
• Strong background in access control systems and video surveillance solutions.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week and support global operations across multiple time zones.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for installations.
