USASOC Visitor Security Control

About the role

The Visitor Security Control professional supports the Physical Security Section at the Special Operations Mission Training Center. The role controls access, assists visitors, implements security procedures and maintains visitor accountability, directly contributing to a secure training and operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process and control visitor access to Special Operations Mission Training Center facilities.
• Verify visitor credentials and issue badges.
• Provide directions, information and customer service to visitors and training participants.
• Operate visitor management and security‑related systems and maintain related records.
• Coordinate with Government security personnel on access matters and support Army physical security procedures.

Required profile

• High School diploma and at least one year of experience in physical security activities.
• Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to maintain it throughout employment.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Completion of required DoD security and awareness trainings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong computer skills and experience with visitor management systems.
