Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner

About the role

The Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner will join the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space Integrated Fires Mission Command Project Office. Based at Redstone Arsenal, the PO drives prioritization, validation, and delivery of network application updates for critical defense systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize and validate network application development, patches, and updates.
• Collaborate with Agile software developers to define acceptance criteria, user stories, and sprint goals.
• Review system engineering designs, algorithms, and provide technical guidance to the development team.
• Work with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the network.
• Coordinate with program management to set priorities for capabilities and defects each increment.
• Deliver technical briefings, demonstrations, and status reports to leadership.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in engineering, science, or mathematics (ABET preferred).
• At least 10 years of combined Government/DoD experience in networking or related fields.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Required skills

• IPv4 and IPv6 addressing and configuration.
• Network device configuration and status monitoring.
• SNMPv3 knowledge.
• Agile development practices.
• JIRA and Confluence.
• Linux operating system.
• Security+ certification (desired).
